WOD:  REST

This is my first posted rest day.  I will do these every so often to remind us that we need to rest.  Crossfit prescribes a 3 on, 1 off cycle at the most.  There are many athletes that may slightly modify, sometimes 4 on, 1 off or 4 on, 2 off or 2 on, 1 off.  The point is, you need to be taking rest days.  If you’re following a Crossfit regimen of working out, your body needs it.  If you find yourself in a lull, feeling that you have plateaued in your training, nutrition, etc…take a break.  This is one of the hardest things for me to do as well, but incredibly necessary.  If you haven’t rested in a while, or are feeling the “need” to.  Then do it, no WOD, no cardio, no workout, nothing.  Also eat some good fatty food, bacon, steak, avocado, ice cream? yummy.
