Workout: SoCal Regional Qualifier No. 2

3 Rounds for time of:
450m Run
30 Overhead Squats, 95lbs.

Todays WOD is the 2nd workout that they used for the SoCal Crossfit Games qualifiers.  If you’re new to Overhead Squats, go light, if you have to sub a PVC pipe or broom handle, thats fine.

Advanced(RX’d):

3 Rounds for time of:
450m Run
30 Overhead Squats, 95lbs.

Intermediate:

3 Rounds for time of:
450m Run
15 Overhead Squats, 65lbs.

Beginner:

3 Rounds for time of:
450m Run
10 Overhead Squats, 45lbs.(or PVC pipe, broom handle)

Do you Twitter? Do you know what the heck it is even?  Lance Armstrong, Shaquille O’Neill, among others, use it daily to share what they’re up to, where they’re at, etc.  Is this a neat tool or  a waste of time…thoughts?

    Hey, we are back in town. After a week of running and doing body weight stuff we did JT @ the Airport Club. 8:32 for me (no rings available) and Kelly didn’t time herself. She hates you right now….
