Double Unders
Sit ups (feet anchored okay)

Post time to comments.

Todays WOD is one of my nemesis workouts.  It has taken me almost 2 years of Crossfit to finally understand how to do Double-Unders.  The biggest keys I can give you is to slow down and jump a bit higher.  I was trying to whip the rope around WAY too fast.  Also make sure you’re using a rope that it long enough for you.  To test, step on the rope in the middle with one foot, pull the handles straight up.  They should reach at least to your armpits.  Most will be using 9′ ropes.  Sit ups can be done with feet anchored (some use dumbells, or wedge feet under something).  Feel free to challenge yourself and do not weight your feet.  There is no scaling except subbing single-unders if you don’t have Double Unders.

Article: “Study Reveals Link Between High Fructose Corn Syrup and Insulin Resistance

“A new study in mice sheds light on the insulin resistance that can come from diets loaded with high-fructose corn syrup, a sweetener found in most sodas and many other processed foods.”

I’m a firm believer that HFCS is the devil.  This article supports that…read it!

Dude, how many annies have you done in the past few months?

    • I know…it all stemmed from the fact I could do no more than 1 double under at a time about a month ago. Completely unacceptable and embarrassing. So, had to get to work. Finally getting my Annie to a respectable time…

BTW, you competing in the NorCal qualifiers?
