Todays WOD, “Randy”, is one of Crossfit’s “Hero” workouts. It is in honor of Randy Simmons, 51, a 27 year LAPD veteran and SWAT team member who was killed February 6 in the line of duty. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Officer Simmons’ wife and two children. Originally posted on 2/13/08.

To scale for todays workout:

Advanced (RX’d): 75lbs.
Intermediate: 75lbs.
Beginner: 45lbs. or PVC pipe

Also, do a solid warm up, such as:

400m Run
10 Pull Ups
20 Push Ups
30 Push Ups
40 Sit Ups

People usually associate eating chili with the cold winter…deep within the long days of February.
