155 pound Hang power clean, 9 reps
155 pound Push jerk, 6 reps

Todays WOD is the newest “Hero” workout.  It is always unfortunate when a new one is posted.  This one is in honor of USAF SSgt Timothy P. Davis, 28, who was killed on Feburary, 20 2009 supporting operations in OEF when his vehicle was struck by an IED. Timothy is survived by his wife Megan and one-year old son T.J.

Advanced(RX’d):

5 RD’s of:
155 pound Deadlift, 12 reps
155 pound Hang power clean, 9 reps
155 pound Push jerk, 6 reps

Intermediate:

5 RD’s of:
135 pound Deadlift, 12 reps
135 pound Hang power clean, 9 reps
135 pound Push jerk, 6 reps

Beginner:

3 RD’s of:
95 pound Deadlift, 12 reps
95 pound Hang power clean, 9 reps
95 pound Push jerk, 6 reps

“Essentially, you want three things when it comes to cookware. You want it to conduct heat efficiently and evenly. You don’t want to pry your food off the pan with a crow bar. Finally, you want to be reasonably certain that you’re not ingesting parts of said cookware along with each meal.”

There are many types of cookware out there, but which is the ‘best’ and safest?  Great article on this from Mark Sisson.

    Advanced & 11:28 and my low back is feeling it. I felt great my first two rounds and did it without stopping…I got winded fir the next 3 rounds and had to stop between excersises.

  2. Nice job. I’ll be doing this WOD at 1600hrs. Looking forward to it, but scared for sure.

    wrist feels good, glad I didn’t reinjure it, felt good to do some cleans finally

    12:10 beginner, 155 on Dead lifts, 95 for everything else. Damn those Cleans!!!
